01KC Certification

KC EMC/RF Certification

Certification of Conformity: This is a conformity assessment that must be certified through a test on the conformity assessment criteria of a designated testing laboratory for equipment that may cause harm to the radio environment and broadcasting communication network, and equipment that causes significant electromagnetic interference or is affected by electromagnetic waves to the extent that normal operation is disturbed.

Registration of Conformity: This is a conformity assessment that is registered after undergoing a conformity assessment criteria test when trying to manufacture, sell, or import broadcasting and communication equipment that is not subject to conformity certification.

Interim of Conformity: This is a conformity assessment that permits manufacturing, importing, and selling of equipment by attaching region, validity period, and certification conditions after conformity assessment according to domestic and foreign standards, specifications, and technical standards if there is no conformity assessment standard for broadcasting and communication equipment, etc., or if conformity assessment is difficult for other reasons.

KC Safety Certification

Safety Certification: The electrical products that are believed to be of a higher level of risks of fire or electrification due to the structure or how they are used, designated according to the Ordinance of the Ministry of Trade, Industry, and Energy, as it is believed that Safety Certification may prevent such risks.

Declaration of Safety Confirmation: The electrical products that are believed to be of a higher level of risks of fire or electrification due to the structure or how they are used, designated according to the Ordinance of the Ministry of Trade, Industry, and Energy, as it is believed that Declaration of Safety Confirmation testing of product by an institution designated by the Minister of Trade, Industry and Energy may prevent such risks.

Supplier Conformity Confirmation: The electrical products that are believed to be of a higher level of risks of fire or electrification due to the structure or how they are used, designated according to the Ordinance of the Ministry of Trade, Industry, and Energy, as it is believed that Supplier Conformity Confirmation testing of product conducted directly by the manufacturer or importer or commissioned by a third party may prevent such risks

: Energy Efficiency Rating Certification
The energy consumption efficiency rating labeling system is a mandatory reporting system to enable consumers to easily purchase energy-saving products with high efficiency and to allow manufacturers (importers) to produce and sell energy-saving products from the source (import) stage. Efficiency rating is divided into 1 to 5 levels according to energy consumption efficiency or energy consumption, and MEPS (Minimum Energy Performance Standard), the lower limit of energy consumption efficiency, is applied.

This program is a mandatory reporting system to expand the supply of products with excellent e-standby power reduction that reduce standby power consumed when electronic products are not in use and to promote the development of related technologies.
